First application of Vanadium Flow battery at data center in the Netherlands

First Volterion battery for Hahold data center A Vanadium Flow battery was put into operation at Hahold data center in Ittervoort on October 16. This makes it one of the first operational storage systems of its kind in the Netherlands.

Solar Magazine reported on this in an article asking whether this is the beginning of a big wave. The message: ‘Europe is not yet embracing the flow battery sufficiently’.
